Finished 6th in British Youths Championship, top 10 English Stroke Play Championship, National Amateur Midland Open Champion, Midland Counties Close Champion and Midland Counties Under 22 Champion.

As a professional achieved 37 Pro-Am wins, 3 County Professional Championships, County Open Champion, Midland PGA Assistants Champion, Leading money winner Midlands PGA, Semi Finalist in PGA National Pro-Am Matchplay Championship, Wimpey European 36 Hole International Pro-Am Champion beating 9 Ryder Cup players, Tamsel Tour Champion of Champions beating three European Tour players. First professional to break the course record and score 59 in Windermere Lakes Classic Pro-Am. I also held 11 professional course records during me career.

Having moved from Hill Valley in 1990 I became the head club professional at Alvaston Hall Nantwich where l had a large retail golf shop combined with a teaching and club repair facility and in the later years also acted as golf manager for the whole golf facility. At the same venue I created and single handed ran one of the largest residential Golf schools in Europe for 12 years under the Warner Holidays brand teaching an average of 300 golfers per annum.

In 2013 I set up a full time teaching position at Eaton Hill Golf Centre Tarporley where l work today. I teach a wide range of golfers from beginners to intermediate through to tournament professionals.

I have a wealth of experience having been teaching golf for almost 40 years and as recent as 2023 I was engaged as coach to former world number one and US Masters Champion Ian Woosnam.

When first meeting you we fill in a questionnaire detailing your past golfing history, what you have achieved, what you want to achieve, any physical restrictions you have and we will discuss what is realistically achievable both short and long term. I will also map out a practice regime for you detailing your progression and the any psychological aspects you may need to overcome.

For my clients peace of mind I’m covered by Public Liability insurance. I am DBS certified, Safe Golf and Child Protection certified.

Testimonials

When I use a new golf coach I normally feel quite apprehensive however, when I met Kevin he quickly put me at ease. Firstly we chatted about my past golf, coaching and also what I'd like to achieve. I particularly liked the questionnaire he supplies to record a customers details and future progress etc.

I've always thought coaching was difficult to understand given the amount of information one may have to take on board but Kevin made everything so plain and logical to understand.

Kevin offers a money back guarantee on a putting lesson....'if he can't improve you he won't charge you' he says!

I thought ok I'd give it a go...guess what?

I enjoyed the lesson so much and improved massively I insisted on asking him for a bunch of business cards to promote him to my golfing friends. There is quite a bit of psychology involved to improving performance which I didn't realise....he got me into a simple but positive mindset within minutes. I'm now putting better than I could ever imagined given I'd been struggling for years.

Mr Perry

Over the years I've endured an awful problem of shanking. I'd even given up the game for a spell because it caused me so much anxiety. Kevin was recommended to me by a fellow golfer...I was astonished with the difference he made straight away. I really wasn't aware of how wrong l was thinking...he clearly explained what I was doing and what the solutions were. To date I'm now enjoying my golf and I've even started to play in club competitions.
